Children’s wellbeing depends on the protection of their rights. In Uganda, many children face daily rights violations, hindering their future. Yet, we know children shape a nation’s tomorrow. African Street Kids Dreams (ASKD), we’re passionate about breaking the cycle of childhood hunger in Uganda. With over 9 years of experience, we provide critical support to children and families through:

Helping Uganda’s Children Since 2016
Over the past nine years, African Street Kids Dreams (ASKD) has transformed the lives of hundreds of vulnerable children across Uganda through unwavering commitment and grassroots action. What began as a small initiative to feed and shelter street-connected children has grown into a comprehensive support network offering education, nutrition, clean water, and safe housing. ASKD has successfully established a children’s home that now provides daily care, love, and stability for 23 children, while offering over 33 scholarships to deserving students who might otherwise never have seen the inside of a classroom. Our clean water and food programs have reached entire communities, ensuring that children not only survive—but thrive.
ASKD’s impact extends beyond basic needs. We’ve become a trusted ally for families and communities affected by poverty, displacement, and disaster—delivering emergency aid during floods, food shortages, and crises with speed and compassion. Through talent development, vocational training, and education support, ASKD equips young people with tools to build a self-sufficient future. This journey has been powered by the generosity of donors, volunteers, and partners who believe, like we do, that every child deserves the chance to dream. Our mission continues with renewed hope and deep gratitude for what’s been achieved—and what’s still to come.
